"What was my favorite part of the YHA conference? Feeling like I belonged. It was the first time in my 5 years of Al-Anon that I felt 100% welcomed and belonging to the Al-Anon fellowship. Everyone there understood what it was to be a young person in Al-Anon recovery. I heard my story from other members and did not feel out of place due to my age. I can not express the gratitude I have for the YHA conference in words. It has recharged my love for the Al-Anon program and our fellowship."
What's YHA, tho?
It's pronounced "Why-HA," not "Yeehaw!"
Young at Heart in Al-Anon, or YHA for short, is an annual convention committed to unifying young or young at heart Al-Anon members through experience, strength, and hope. YHA is centered around fellowship, fun, and a place to belong in recovery. We accomplish this through dedication to service and carrying the message to friends and families of alcoholics.
YHA 2020 will be our second annual convention, and we're saving a seat for you.
Join in on the fun!
Whether you want to get in on the YHA business meetings or are just here for the fellowship, we have something for you.
